Saw a new highway patrol vehicle on my way back from Winston-Salem the other week:





Two tiny blue lights in the back glass, and that was it. NC SHP is getting damn sneaky around here.

 

We've now got White Mustangs and RED mustangs as well on 270/495 in MD. The white 'stangs are easy enough to figure out, but red!?!

we have undercover volvos here now..........i couldn't believe it.........everytime i drive home on trafalgar road I see the white undercover volvo pulling someone over

 

The best one I have seen undercover so far is a Ford Windstar. A State trooper sitting in the median, gunnin with his radar gun. I was dumbfounded and thank goodness for my radar detector.

haha on my way to work the other day I saw some dude getting pulled over by a cop in a D.A.R.E painted camaro, I was lmao cuz it was like 40 different colors how could you miss it, it wasn't even an undercover car.

 

Even after receiving my V1 last week, I am still driving like a puss. It seems to false too much on K band.

Often, car manufactuers will donate cars to police departments, especially if they're trying to grease the local policians to build a factory...I know when BMW built that US plant they have they gave some cars to the highway patrol...

In Northern VA they use Minivans (windstars i think) to stake out quickie-marts and bust underage kids buying alcohol & cigs....and i've seen a few doing traffic-patrol duty. They're super low-key, teal or beige, no lights on the exterior, not even antennas.

 

Are you sure about the BMW part. Ive never seen any BMW cop cars in the states. Louisville, CO got a few Land Rovers donated when the new dealership went in. And in Aspen, the popos are pimpin new Saab 9-5s.
