Default intermediate shaft/axle question

Is the intermediate shaft and drivers side axle different on a type r than on any other integra? I replaced the passenger side with an axle i had for my gsr but i think i remember that the drivers side is different. If so i was wondering if a intermediate shaft off a b16 tranny would work with a type r tranny so i can use the axle i have.

Oh and does auto zone/hires/advanced auto have type r axles in stock or would they need to be ordered?

Thanks

All 94-01 Integra's use the same axles with the exception if your car ABS or not. Which means, all Integra intermediate shafts are the same, MT or AT.

I thought the only difference with abs is a sensor thing.
I made a drawing to help explain what I mean.

Your new axle is from a DA. They have male splines, instead of the female splines. If you want your new axle to work you are going to need an intermediate shaft from a DA also. Makes sense?

Or, your "new" axle maybe for the passenger side. Just depends on the length.
