are there any honda s running nines or faster in the street class ?

supras are inline six twin turbo cars that can run ridiculous times on street tires...damn...we can never catch up...btw t78 is a boner

Yeah it runs 9's. I was behind it in time trials 3 weeks ago at atco. And no, I dont think theres any hondas in the 9's in the street class, no, definetly no.
We a sat night midnight drags race here with no timeslips/no scoreboards this week. last night there was a corvette that turned a 9.21 on a traction limited surface. These are truly driven street cars. it should be awesome.

dont know but i believe that the fastest honduh is faster than the fastest supra...

hondas don't run in the street classes(nhra or idrc) because you must run a dot approved radial tire. there are only a handful of hondas that "might" be able to run 11's on a dot approved radial. awd/rwd rules that class. bastards.

not true on the DOT tires.. you can choose to run bias-ply radial but you must take a 150 pound weight penalty. most supra's and eclipse/talons can afford to take the weight penalty.

what i meant was that fwd cars cannot run slicks. therefore cannot run better than probably a high 11. which blows by the way.
