Default 4th gen accord question

i just bought a 4th gen accord that has a blown motor in it and i was wonderin if i can replace it with a fifth gen motor and be able to use the 4th gen tranny

90-97 accord f series will work together. I know fth gen f and h trannys are interchangable.

a4thgneaccord said it best, you did get an answer and it was accurate. Most all F series and H series blocks are interchangeable with an F or H series tranny. So to be completely direct and put it in the simplest terms possible for you, yes. You can get a "5th gen" motor and it will bolt up to your "4th gen" tranny. Have fun.

yes it was the answer but i wanted more opinions thanks for all the help guys/girls now im gonna find a motor
