Swap won't start!!! HELP

Swap won't start!!! HELP
I swap a 94 gsr into my 97 EK hatch....I'm using a custom DX harness with vtec added...When I start the car from the ignition it won't crank, but when I hot wire it from the battery to the starter it cranks...any help would be appreciated....also using a OBD2 P72
