Default paint question

so i have a "minor" scratch ( 5-10 inches long) but no body damage on my front bumper from hitting someone.

i was wondering if i should take my car to honda dealership to get it fixed and painted (if they do it) or if its better to take it to a paint/body shop?

i think going to honda that theyll just want you to buy a new bumper so i think it is sometimes better to go to a paintshop
but i could be wrong
when i went to get my trunk fixed they wouldnt paint but just tell me to buy a new trunk so . . . . .

If its just a small scratch, they'll probably have an on-site guy that does painting at your local dealer. We have a company called 'Same Day' and he does excellent work on smaller scratches like bumper scuffs. If not they'll have a body shop that they can refer you too.

I'd go with honda but make sure that they don't half *** it like they did mine. They left a piece of dirt inside the paint and expected me to keep that bullshit! Anyways they are doing it over agian. So as far as it goes just make sure its done properly no matter where you decide to take it.
