I didn't need anywhere near the full pedal throw with the cc twin.

I tryed one on my CC twin , and it shifted ok driving around town , but when I took it past 7000 rpm , it would lock me out of gear , so I adjusted the rod on the clutch peddle all the way short , works for me

i have been running the Exedy twin for over 2 years now with no pedal stop, making decent power, with out a single issue. however i just installed one for some "things" im trying.
Yoni, thanks for the help on the pedal stop we talked about...it actually worked very very well. completely adjustable too
i think i can still shorten the pedal travel a little bit, but im pretty happy with where its at right now.

I was told by cc that it's better to have the clutch grab closer to the top and then adjust your pedal stop from there. So you can eleminate any excess travel so you can have a quicker shift. The idea is to not go over center on the pressure plate so you dont damage it.

you can test this by having the car up on jack stands, and slowly pushing the clutch pedal toward the floor until you can spin the tires(you will need 2 people for the task) then when it disenguages, you need about 1/8-1/4 of more pedal travel, any more than that, and you will damage the pressure plate.

a saftey factor so you cant start the car unless you are sitting in it?
i know our racecars are "start-a-ble" with out pushing the clutch pedal in. although it would be smart to utilize this saftey feature.
