i hate to bring this back but i dont want to make another thread...but will a z6 oil pan fit on the d15?..im pretty sure it does i just want to make sure before i buy it.
i got a nearly rust free ef hatch for 500 bucks..n it came with a dx engine out of a 94 sedan..iv got everything ready to be put back into the ef..except..the harness..i havent attempted to even do it..i was wondering if theres any sensors im going to have to change to one out of an ef or extend any wires ..im using the ef harness btw
im using the stock dx trans out of the ef
ef si intake mani
and ef dizzy
if that helps any
also i got a DA rad ..that will fit in the EF right?
thanks

first, you will need to do the DPFI to MPFI wiring changes to the DX harness, including wiring for the injectors (you need injector resistor box), wiring for the Cylinder Sensor and rewiring the distributor with different connector - you will need a distributor from 89-91 Civic Si, 90-91 Civic EX, 88-91 CRX Si or 88-91 CRX HF - the DX distributor will not work - you will need PM6 Si ECU - the EG engine has the cooling fan switch on the thermostat housing where the EF had it on the back of the block by the oil filter - you will need to extend the wires and put a different connector on so that it will plug into the sensor

the car already had the mpfi swap already done sorry i forgot to mention that...so im assuming it already has an si dizzy but thanks for the other info
if you want you can just use the whole obd1 d15 manifold and injectors, just delete take your injector resisitor box out, clip the wires and solder and heat shink them all together, then pin in obd1 injector clips. using the ef Si manifold and injectors will also work perfect and require no wiring at your injectors if your are already MPFI, i personally like the obd1 manifolds better because you can bolt an obd1-2 b18b TB on it and run the map sensor on the TB so you don't have that ugly one sitting there on the firewall, just extend the wire to it if you go this route and heat shrink as always.
On the obd1 block the only wiring differences are in the coolant temp switch and fan switch. the coolant temp switch is moved to the thermostat housing on obd1 motors and the fan switch is now a normal sensor type as opposed to the big bulky two pole type switches on the obd0 motors. to keep your wiring stock on that just put your old obd0 fan switch onto the obd1 motors, or solder in the correct plug to use an obd1 plug.
what Ecu are you running now? if its a Pm6 then you must already have an mpfi dizzy.
