stock rod strangth

Im building an H23 VTEC and have some stock h23 rods that have been shot peened for strenth and have ARP bolts.Will these rods be strong enough for 12.3:1 compression on at 8000 RPM`s?

Shot peening isnt going to do anything for you, the bolts are a good choice though.

They should be plenty "strang" enough.

shot peen can add some strength to rods
