Default types of power sanders?

well im plannin on sanding my car down this summer. i tried to sand it my hand but thats goin to take years unless my arm just falls off. lol. i looked online to see what i should get but there were like hundreds of different kinda sanders. well i wanted to kno what kinda sander can i get from my local homedepot for like 30$-40$ to sand off the base coat.

If you are going electric, then a 6" random orbital sander would be great. If you have a good air compressor, then I would suggest a good 6" DA sander.

yeah a orbital will work wonders ,allso a jigger sander is a monster allso ,if you have a air compressor that is

A 10" what? I've never seen a RA sander that large. Your typical 5-6" RA is all you should ever need.

I've seen a 10" before, think it was called a mud hog. I used it in school once, wasn't a fan of it. It'll strip a panel to bare metal in no time lol.
