(((i need to raise my car. How?)))
Ok, so im currently running tokico hp (non adjustable) struts and Eibach sportline springs and my car is slammed. like if i didnt have -3 deg of camber the tires would rub the fenders. Now my problem. I am installing an upper control arm type camber kit and when i lower the car down the control arm hits the frame. I hacked it out and tried my best to get it to clear but it just wont. I need to find a way that i can raise my car without buying new struts or adjustable coilovers. Im poor. is there any trick or way i can raise it? or buy a cheap adjustable collar? thanks
did u make sure you have the stop washer on right on the strut rod??? if not that will make it slam to the ground even with just springs. raise it up open the hood and lower it back down and watch the strut rod as u lower it and if it moves up your stop washer is in the wrong place lemme know
its been more than 6 months since i've installed them. does that matter? would it still be drivable if like you said, the stop washer moves? lmk
what i mean is ive been driving it. the stop washer goes on the strut and its on the very top of the fender well where the strut goes up?

I had them on my car for like 6 months and 1 by 1 they were left somewhere

If you got those ebay arms, just grind more off, they are hit and miss. Mine fit almost fine one side barely scraped and when the paint wore off it cleared fine the other side hit by like 1/4" . I just drove around hard for like 5 minuted it clearanced itself
i think thats what happened. i had to chop the rears because i bought the springs used and thought the guy who owned them before me cut the fronts. stupid me. lol. but anyways. right now i have the stock wheels on and the tire tucks up inside the fender. with teh gt3's (205/50/15) it would rub the fender if i wasnt at -3.5 deg of camber
