Default removing drive axle

Anyone have any secrets how to separate the steering knuckle from the LCA so I can pull my axle out?

Well I've been beating on the lca with a 4lb sledge hammer for about an hour now and I'm not sure if it has moved at all.

I'm reading up on some other methods but if someone else has anything uncommon I'm all ears.

You cant ***** it.

It' takes a Full Arms length swing with POWER pretend it's an axe and you are spiltting wood

You HAVE to HIT IT HARD

it will work.... but if it doesn't them move on to the craftsman racthet trick.

Yeah I gotta admit I probably did ***** it.

My dad works at Honda and when he was a team leader they assembled the front end. He told me even after setting the ball joint if they needed to make a repair. They still had to smack it with a hammer.

that ratchet trick looks pretty nifty, try that. don't use a pickle fork unless you want to rip the boot

BFH didn't work (but maybe it helped).
Ratchet method didn't work.
3ft crow bar.. FTW

Just wedged it up in there and kept pulling up then finally it broke loose!
