Default Turbonetics H22 Turbo Kit, CARB Exempt?

Does Turbonetics make a turbo kit for my 2000 Prelude SH that's also CARB Exempt. If so, can anybody provide a link to a website that sells them? I can't seem to find a CARB EXEMPT kit anywhere.

That's because no one makes a CARB exempt turbo kit.

Yeah, I know turbonetics sucks, but I'm only looking for a little bit of boost for the daily drive and perhaps some of the streight-aways at the Willow Springs Circuit. Not looking to blow away a Z06 on the drag strip. Espeically with my 3100lb front wheel drive car.

it's a tiny *** turbo that is entirely too small for a H22

it's a GT2860R by garret if you want to look it up more or you could probably just google disco potato and get the information you were looking for.

anyway if your turboing an H22 don't go with anything smaller then a T3/T4 57 trim it's the smallest turbo most people would even think of putting on a 2.2 liter motor it will spool up just fine and wont run out of breath in the top end like a disco potato would.

do you have any idea what you are talking about? or are you just saying things for the sake of saying them? turbonetics is one of the top turbo manufactures along with garret and precision

i have there kit on my 1997 Prelude and the pieces don't fit right, instructions sucks, and is a bitch to put on. for example the exhaust manifold was a tight fit going on to the head and i had to redrill the holes bigger to make it sit flat. i was leaking before and it also leak from the wastegate in which i had to machine a copper gasket so it could seal better. also the part in which the turbo connects to the downpipe leak and they didn't provide a gasket in which i had to order a new one from someone else. and the kits was expensive as a ****.

luckily i work at a machine shop so i had tools to make the kit work. but u think for a name brand kit that cost over 3g everything would work fine. also turbonetics are a part of kelly aerospace. i wouldn't wana ride on there planes! haha!
