Oil Temp Sender Install
Use the stock sensor location, on the back of the block next to the oil filter.

for oil temp...go with a bung in the pan...the stock area described above is for pressure NOT temp. I have a bung in my pan...works great ZERO problems. I also have an extra pan I could get on welded in for you...if you wanted

My plan is to use and aftermarket Oil Pressure guage also. So I will follow Larry's directions to tap the stock oil pressure sender and the aftermarket sender from the spot near the oil filter. My question is: Is it possible to also tap the temp sender from the same area?
You can use the pressure point for temp, BUT I would not do that. You won't get an accurate reading of your temps. I would use the bung in the pan. That is where mine is and it looks factory. The welder at my shop is a pro to say the least. Once I added my oil cooler I could a major differnece in temps and feel that monitoring the temp in the pan is the best place. The pan is where 90% of the oil is most of the time....so that is where I want to take my temp reading.
Just my 2 cents
