when i bought my 99 Prelude, the previous owner told me that the 'relay' was bad. so i replaced the bad relay with a new one. still, the horn does not work. the SRS light is on, and i don't know if that would cause it not to work? if anyone could help me out with this, that would be great. thanks.

SRS light is on? on the 5th gens the horn button is on the airbag.. check if it was a blown airbag or if its wired up correctly.. is it salvage?

 

how do you check if the bag was blown? and i don't know if the car was in an accident or not. but since i bought the car i'v noticed odd things such as 2 different headlights etc. i guess the light came on when the previous owner disconnected the battery. so i was told. who knows, i just want to get it fixed.

 

yeah, the fuse is good.

 

if you have two different headlights, and your srs light is on, as well as the horn not working, I would start to suspect your car has been crashed, spend a little and get a carfax report, and see what it says.

 

is it plugged in?

 

check your horn's ground while your at it!
