my friend want to buy d16z6 engine . and he found one but when i checked the block code (D16Z6) i found it differant than any d16z6 and it seem to be made by hand. so how to know if that block for d16z6 engine without depend on the code and o2 sensor because its without exhuaste mani.

i checked the cam its p08 and the ecu is p28 so how to check the block without opining it and measure the rods ?

 

There's a stamp near the header on the left side.

Find it.

 

do you mean the stamp which on the head ? it say p08 and as i know there are some d16z6 came with that stamp on the head

so i need any code at the block to day its 16 not 15 get it ?

the block code tells you, what do you mean made by hand?

 

its seems to be someone use a hammer and and a piece of iron and draw it and not seem to be a the usuall stamp of d16z6 .

so does the block has any mark or code to tell its 16 else the code (d16z6)
