i heard if your transmition has overdrive you could convert it to AWD i wanted to know if it was ture and if it is does any one know how

well sir, you heard correct, infact all of my hondas are AWD, if you google "AWD honda conversion" you can find detailed instructions on doing this. Its a great first mod and def increase resale value and winter driving. let us know how you make out.

Um, yes.. I have overdrive in my 95 ls, it has a sixth gear just for that.

So where do I sign-up for awd?

 

Yeah it's possible if you're willing to spend alot of money!... there was a guy a while back who changed his civic to AWD through using the CRV driveline because it's awd though he spent alot of money and time on custom parts and gettings things to fit and work. So it can be done but it's in no way ganna be easy.

 

ANYTHING can be done. Just depends on how much time/effort/money you want to spend.

You don't need details, just ask the techies at any dealer,
they have special diagrams for the how-to on accessing your secretive overdrive.

Then it's something like, on-off-on-off, beep your horn 3 times, shift into a couple different gears,
then I think you push the brake ped... I really shouldn't be leaking this information..

But either way, that's mostly how you get awd, no need to get some overpriced subie.
