reving probs

Default reving probs

i just put my ls vtec back together and i start it up, it starts up fine and runs good but will not rev past 2500 rpm. the cel is on but i try to jump the plug to see my codes and it wont flash me any. so i dont know wats going on. some people told me it was out of time and others say its in limp mode??? ne ideas?

i put the car in time correctly again but it still hasnt change so i have no clue wats the problem so ne advice would help. thanks

sounds like limp mode, if it was chipped improperly or had a bad chip or damaged in some way the ecu will revert back to limp mode

it wasnt chipd. but i did figure out the codes i got 6,7,10, and 14. i got a new tps and put it on but that didnt make a diff, and i always have a code for the iacv and its never made it do this, but could the coolnt temp sens. or the iat sens. make it do this??? those are the other two codes that it gives me

well ill try to see wats the problem with it or get a new one but if that dosnt take care of it this is gona suck

so i figured it out. i finally got some time and i was diagnosing the problem and the neg. wire to the tps sensor was pulled out of the jumper harness so i hooked it back up and it runs good!!!! thanks guys!!! NOT cause know one likes to help except for civic_jdm16 thanks buddy for trying. na im jk guys but keep up the good work, later

not a problem I know how bad things can get when you have pretty much tried everything with no results.... those late nights lying awake in bed being pi$$ed off lol
