When my brother shipped out his factory STi wheels he got 4 boxes that were a lil bigger than the tire and just shipped out 1 tire per box.

i'm not shipping rims, i'm just shipping tires. what is the best way via ups? 2 tires at once? one at a time, or all4 together? for the best price?

thanks

i would go w/ fedex ground or dhl ground best prices and tell them it is going to a business address.. if i shipped tires..i would tie them all up w/ straps and just ship them 2 at a time. you may get taxed w/ a small special handling charge but that would be the fastest/easiest way to pack them. make sure you insure them in case of damage.

for future reference for shipping rims and tires or even other heavier items, you can contact a freight shipper and have them on a pallet. forward air is a company i have used w/ great success in the past.

hope that helped.

You can get special superstrong strapping tape (at any office supplies store). Use it to strap each pair of tires together 3-4 places around the circumference of the tires.

Putting them on a pallet is WAY overkill for tires.

That's exactly how mine came from tire rack via UPS.
