For Those Who Have Removed Heat, Fitting Size??
Need to find the thread sizing of the hose-barb off the side of the head, to the lower left of the vtec solenoid that the heater-hose is clmaped too.
Removed the heating system, just need to find the appropriate plugs

I know the plugs that go in the rocker arm holes fits and looks good, Iam talking about the allen headed plugs on both sides of a B vtec head.

Thanks guys, when I initially did this last night it threaded a bit weird, but with everyone suggesting it, a little thread sealant and the fitting should do it

I wouldn't do that, rubber caps on water lines will fail. it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

you can, but why would you clutter the engine bay more with a loop hose, when a simple threaded allen head plug will do a much cleaner and reliable job? at somewhat simlar cost levels, or free if you have an extra plug layin around.

they are the same pitch.. the allen head plug, also uses the crush washer on it, (you dont need teflon paste)

Sorry to bring this back, what have you guys done with the barb off the back of the block right below the waterpipe?
Have it welded shut I'm assuming? Is it 3/4" BSPT?

where the oil cooler hose connects to the block ?

i just looked through my teg service manual, and had no luck finding what that pipe's size/pitch are...
but my suggestion would be to either
A. get an allen head style plug in 3/8 bspt(if you can find it) might want to try mcmaster.com or a place like that.
B. tap it to 3/8 npt, and put an allen head plug in place.
