hey guys I have a quick question about my xm radio.

I installed it the other day and the guy from best buy told me I could connect it into my aux jack. I did that and the radio only plays over the right speaker. the lesft one completely doesnt have any sound coming out of it.

does anyone know what I can do to fix it? it it the receiver or maybe something else? thanks for any help!

 

do u have a stereo plug? If its only got 1 ring around the tip its a mono plug...hence why it only plays on one side... get a decent stereo cable from radio shack/bestbuy/circuit.. like 5-10 bucks.

 

Ha, your mistake was taking it to Best Buy in the first place. My friend used to work there and he warned me never get audio there cause they do a crappy job and don't care. Another one of my friends got a new head unit for his jeep there and he had problems, when he asked them to fix it they did some shaddy job and just used scotch tape or something. Go to another place that only does car audio.
