i bought this apexi v-afc vtec controller and i tried to set it up according to the instructions but i didnt feel any increase of power does any body know how to set all the throttle thing or intake manifold pressure?

 

you need to tune it on a dyno to see any benefit. dont go messing with it if you dont know what you're doing.


what mods do you have to made you feel you needed a vafc in the first place.

well i just wanted it for my vtec to kick in sooner and i found out that **** modifies all the air fuel ratio thats why or to mess around with it eather one

Dude... if you put a Vtec controller on there, you'll mess up your power band. Unless you have the correct modifications, you really dont need Vtec to roll over sooner. Putting the car on a dyno will show you that. When Vtec kicks in sooner, you are most likely loosing horsepower and messing up the power band.

IMO one of The worst tuning product on the market.

Your Vafc won't do you any good until your brain has the capacity to understand how engines work.

i wouldnt say that

those buddy club and spoon vtec controllers with a simple **** to adjust vtec and nothing else suck lots more donkey *****.

 

Fixed.

 

i'd say sell it and just use a chipped ecu with crome or hondata and get it tuned properly on a dyno...you'll get better results.
