EBC Brake Pad Review
I tried the EBC GreenStuff brake pads.
I am quite impressed. They squeal a little when they are cold, and under light light braking.. but once they are heated they are an ENORMOUS difference. Doesn't take as much effort to get the same braking effect that I had with the Honda pads.
They make a little dust, but nothing too bad.

my friend has them on his rex and he loves them. I got them but have yet to put them on, and ill be using them with new rotors. Ill let you know.
I'm not sure if they would suck on the track or not, but it doesn't matter to me.
I drive my cars on the street, and I was looking for a little more performance with braking. The EBC pads suited my needs just fine.

.....how do the reds compare?
. I had to make a mad dash (between sessions
) to the local Autozone parts store and buy a set of $19.99 lifetime pads for the remaining sessions. Believe it or not, the Autozone pads did extremely well (especially when compared to the EBC Reds) for the remaining four sessions
.FWIW, I now use Hawk HP+ for track pads.

EBC on a track = bad.

I used EBC's then hawks then Carbotech's
EBC's(green) were OK on street, and junk on the track ..short lifr
Hawk (HP+) were very good, grippy on the street and pretty darn good on the track too, with pretty good life
Carbotech (XP)(track only pad) These things grab like no tomorrow and are real nice on rotors too. Im a lazy bum and have been using them on the street for a week now and they feel like stock pads when cold, but grab like hell when they get hot, good life too
I would reccomend Carbotech, then Hawks, then EBC's if thats all you can find

Carbotech P+'s are the bomb. They sound like metal on metal when they are cold, but stop on a dime. Oh yeah if its hot where you live (I live in south FL, so its pretty damn hot), remove your heat shields to keep your rotors from warping.
As for on the track, all I can say is wow... ask about 50% of the people that went to expo, allot them them were usings p+'s. They are simply amazing. Like stock pads when they are cold (besides the bad sounding noise) but when they get hot, look out for cars behind you when you step on the brakes.
They don't dust to bad, and the dust is not corosive like the hawk blues.

Hey Mike...
careful with the EBC green's.... friend of mine warped all his rotors using them on the STREET.
That was on his SiR though. I'd like to hear a second opinion, I personally liked them when they were on his car...had good initial bite....
Endless MA11 on the track....MWUahahhahhaa....good enough to engage the ABS on the SiR under moderate braking.....

i agree with everyone's opinion on the P+'s. great stopping power once there is some heat in them, not t00 dusty and non corrosive (great for lazy f00s like me). still got to get them bugs off mah k44 from the post expo trip home.
the do seem to wear quickly. there is significantly less pad left after 3 lapping days than on my year old R4S's. and i did slightly warp my rotors from the expo but that's prolly due more to my stomping problem.
