Man I just got an aem intake for smog purposes,and I must say my 40$ ebay cai out performs it in everyway.First of all its smaller in diameter than the ebay cai,it sits a lil closer to the engine (hotter),and it cost 5x as much.My other cai pulls more air faster,period,and even though its not a huge deal in power,I ca feel it when I hammer the acceleraion....it just feels like it struggles in comparison to the ebay intake.


Honestly the only time I will use the aem is when I drive to and from the smog station,and no other time,I am really dissapointed.I didnt expect any hp gains,but I didnt expect it to be a step down either.Ebay intakes FTW.

cai's suck, if its aem or ebay....

 

WEll its a cai cut to fit above the the fender,so I guess its more like a long sri.

 

i have a red CAI w/ an injen sticker on it.. but im not sure if its an injen.. the injen cai for ludes isn't red.. but w/e it sounds nice and i dont think its robbing power.
