i don't wanna take mine off to see teh code on it... just wondering if there is a difference and which one do i want ... its in a 92 civic hb... i realize its not an ef but this forum moves faster and is usually a lot more help than the other...

The TD-44U distributor is for the OBD-1 B16.

 

but there are two different options for the d16z6 you are positive the 42u is the right one?

those are the options for you have v-tec go with the td-42 if you dont go with the other....peace

 

the parts store said its either a 41u or a 42u i just said 42u i still can't find the darn casting number on the dizzy
