Default Help, Racing seats

I have these 3A racing seats and I cant figure out how the front points on the seat belt mount to the floor or whatever. The clips are to small to clip into the bracket bolts.

Idk if they mount to the floor or the bottom of the seat or what. Do I need to weld a bar type thing to the floor to clip them mounts onto? Can someone tell me how those front mounts mount?

dood.. why in gods name would you put those in your car...

and do you have a roll cage?.. weapon r harness.. come on man. who are you kidding, sell those.

i doubt you have a roll cage, but umm, when you flip your car, and you have a 4 point harness, and your body can't deflect like an oem type harness. you die.

please sell, and amend, brush up, consider again, correct, emend, go over, polish, re-evaluate, re-examine, rearrange, reassess, recheck, rehash, replan, rethink, retrace, review, revise, reweigh, rework your ideas of modding your car from auto zone.

please.

I didnt think i asked for your opinion if I would die in these seats did I? NO!! I asked how these mount. And I guess its my own dumb fault if I die if im in a wreck now isnt it. I dont plan on going illegal street racing in my car anyway! If anything I would go to a track to test it out. Just tell me how these mount. besides, if you think im putting these in that red civic thats in my advitar your wrong, im putting them in my 1990 CRX. And how do you know I dont have a roll cage, maybe I do, maybe I am planning on putting one in. I just asked how these mount, ok?

why does it matter to you soo much? Im not even going to be full out racing with this car, its just for fun. Gee wiz man, its just for looks, its not like regular seats would be more safe. Just tell me how to mount the front clips! these seats would protect me just as well as stock ones.

DUDE!!! listen to other people... THESE will not help you more than your stock seats.

If you hook these up wrong, you can actually kill yourself even easier than in your stock seat..

if you dont hook the back hooks at the correct angle,, AND YOU DO CRASH!!

you can compress your spine and die.

Please research your topic more.

post up some pics of your roll cage... those seat belts are also not dot approved, and sfi/etc, so you won't pass safety or state inspection.

Why would you put a roll cage, and seats, and a harness in a car you said yourself your not racing..

ohhh.. your a ******* poser.. i get it now. ahh duh !

See thats the thing, on the 90 CRX it has the door mounted seatbelt so there is no spot where the origonal seat belt was. Thats why i was asking if I should make one. Could I just make one of my own mounts for it?

On November 5, 1955, Doctor Emmett Brown came up with the idea of the flux capacitor after slipping and bumping his head while standing on his toilet to hang a clock. The idea came to him in a vision he had after being knocked out.

In order to travel through time, the vehicle integrated with the flux capacitor needs to be travelling at 88 mph (141.6 km/h), and requires 1.21 gigawatts of power (1,210,000,000 watts), originally (from 1985 to 1955) supplied by a plutonium-powered nuclear reactor. However, for the time machine's return trip (from 1955 back to 1985), plutonium was not available, so a lightning rod was connected directly to the flux capacitor and was used while the vehicle sustained 88 mph. Plutonium was used once again for a trip forward in time at least 30 years, and at some point thereafter the plutonium reactor was replaced by a "Mr. Fusion" home energy generator from the future that was fueled by extracting hydrogen atoms from garbage.

The De Lorean once again came back to 1985 and proceeded to travel to 2015, where it was stolen and taken back to 1955 and returned back to 2015 without the Doc's knowledge. When they returned in 1985, they found it was a different present, so they traveled back to 1955 to fix the timeline. The De Lorean was again struck by lightning in the year 1955, this time by accident. The lightning created an overload and destroyed the time circuits, if you watch closely you will see that the 1885 date was already displayed before the lightning hit, after the LED read-outs flashed, this is a reference to earlier in the film when Doc exclaims that he needs to fix them (they also flash a random date before he hits it and they are corrected), contrary to popular belief the 1885 date was not caused by the lightning hitting the De Lorean. It was then hidden in the Delgado mine for 70 years, "... because suitable replacement parts will not be invented until 1947." This is presumably a reference to the invention of the transistor. It was recovered from the mine in 1955 and repaired by Doc Brown's 1955 counterpart, thus restoring it to working order. Since both gasoline and garbage were available, the next trip back to 1885 was performed under the car's own power.

Due to a broken fuel line, the De Lorean's final trip from 1885 to 1985 was partially powered by a steam locomotive pushing the vehicle up to 88 mph while using Mr. Fusion to generate the 1.21 gigawatts required to activate the Flux Capacitor and break the Time barrier. Doc returns to 1985 in a time machine made from a train. This uses a flux capacitor that Doc was able to power using steam.

</TD></TR></TABLE> contradictions FTL...

Anyways OP, please if you are going to put in that harness, get a roll cage if you don't hae one, if you do please make sure to tap the hole...
Just pick a solid location and tap a hole, and probably you should use a backing plate of some kind because sheet metal will break easily. Please be careful when doing all of this because it is very dangerous if you have no idea of what you are doing; also keep a positive attitude towards other's on HT because they are just trying to help you.

Lastly get a five point harness if you are going to drive street, the submarine belt will help and if you get in a roll over with enough force in a four point with no bar...you will just be a statistic shaping the responses here...take all needed precautions and GL...

maybe you should just put the seats in, and leave your stock seatbelts.

unless you really do have a rollcage. *shrug*
