Hi guys...new here...i searched already and didn't really find what i was looking for. I have an amp and sub that i want to use connected to the stock HU. How would I connect the wires to the stock headunit and make the amp/sub function properly? I have power running to the amp but I don't know what wires i need to splice from the stock harness in order to get the sub to bang. What do you think i need to do?

 

You need an adjustable Line output converter. You are going to hook this up at the harness behind the radio... if you dont want to take your dash apart you can tap onto the wires at the speaker. Here are your wiring codes.

Non amped

+12V DC Battery(Constant) White 23 10 amp Fuse box in left side of engine compartment
Switched Accessory Violet 35 7.5 amp Fuse box under left end of dash
Ground Black
Power Antenna Gray Pin G3 at audio unit (except USA DX: yellow/green at A1)
Illumination Gray (+) or red/black Red for (-)
Steering Wheel Control Wire Pink If equipped; brown for signal ground.
Left Front + Light green
Left Front - Pink
Right Front + Gray
Right Front - Brown
Left Rear + Yellow Or gray
Left Rear - Brown
Right Rear + Blue
Right Rear - Orange


Amped

Left Front + Blue Audio unit sends line level audio to the amplifier.
