ep3 ?

Just installed hondata intake gasket on my buddys ep3

everything went smooth.But on first start up I noticed that the temp. was pinned on hot.Went and double checked everything and it looks fine all conn. are plugged in. Can somebody help me out on this. thanks

It went to hot right away or warmed up to hot?
