Hello:

I have a 00 civic ex with CD and after change battery, it asks for radio code, but I can't find the code paper, yes I tried dealer and they want big $$$$ just to type and check code....


so if anyone can please help me,

the Model Number is 39100-S02-A000
REF NO is CQ-JH5810Z
the Serial Number is M98D335777

Call another dealer.

Or, you may have to show up with the radio & proof of ownership.

Ditto the above, call another dealer, better yet, go to another dealer with proof of ownership.

The only time dealers up here charge anything is if they have to pull the HU to get the serial number. 94

I tried, they said that my radio is not from the same car and they'll want $65 to uninstall and another $65 to install to check and I need to show the proof the ownership for the radio to get code after I paid, what the hell is that?!!!! What a rip off palce, so I am simply just asking if anyone can help, just run a code for me without me getting ripped off and then I might not getting a code... thanks

That policy is there for a reason. People buy stolen radios to put into their cars. There is nothing you can type into a thread to prove that the radio you bought isn't stolen. Furthermore, stock radios suck.

There's no begging for radio codes allowed in this forum.
