K&N just released their updated version of their Typhoon intake system. I remember reading something about the tube was too long and people had to trim parts of the intake tube to make it fit. I just installed mine last night and the fitment was good. I didn't have any problems with the install. Gas mileage seems to have improved a bit, but it's kinda too early for me to tell. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up

What are the claimed gains with this thing?

 

I want to know as well. Also, does the low end suffer from this intake?

 

I think it said somewhere around 5hp on the website, they even had a dyno sheet to prove it!

I feel increase torqe as well on the low range, but nothing too drastic. I got the intake hoping for increased MPG and not really caring too much about HP gains

 

so should i get that one or i was thinking about getting the t1 racing carbon one , what your opinion brad?
