Default Strange Auto to Manual Question.

I currently have a 96 EX coupe and I am working on an auto to manual swap on it. With that said I have a question about throttle bodies and map sensors.

I am going to boost the car (I have most of the parts already) and I plan on going with a GM 3 bar but my question is: Can I use the GM sensor if it's not boosted on a stock ecu? If not, would a stock map from a 92-95 auto work? Does it boil down to a map sensor is a map sensor as long as it doesn't go over it's threshold on positive manifold pressure?

I also have an auto throttle body from a 94 DX that I am going to use so that I have the nipple on it already for a firewall mounted map sensor.

Thanks for the help on this one.

The map sensor will still send the same vac. signals to the ecu. People get the 3BAR to run higher boost levels. Youll be fine.

I knew that people use it for higher boost levels (hence the 3 bar part, the honda one is only good for a little over one bar? I think.) I was just unsure of if it sent out different signals. Thanks alot for the help. I'm actually using your swap guide.
