Default tips for new paintjob??

well just got my car outta the shop today and im not exactly sure how to care of it.. i just know the simple **** that they told me over the counter like not to use soap and can't wax it till 4-6 months or something? and no pressure hoses.. so all i would have to be doing is bascially rinsing the car with water?? or what??

WTF english would be nice??

Clear takes up to 90 days to fully cure so the normal recommendation is to not wax it or use harsh detergents, washing solutions for that period of time. Rinsing w/ water is your best bet. A good body shop would never wax a fresh paint job.

At the shop I work at we tell customers not to wax for 30 days. And I actually worked at a body shop that had the clean up guys wax the freshly painted panels after they washed the car, and they only waxed the painted panels...nothing else lol. The people that ran the shop were total idiots.
