My 89 CRX DX with automatic transmission is up for sale.

* I purchased the vehicle from THE proverbial little old lady. She owned the car from 32k miles in 1991/92. Her and her husband had it until 179k, when I bought it off of them. The passenger seat was as worn as the drivers seat! How cool!

Alright, here are the quick and dirty specs

* Dealer and private mechanic history from 1997 through ~2005 IIRC
* 182k on original motor and trans
* Dealer service for some good items, like axles, boots, etc
* New alternator and brakes in 2005, brakes feel great
* Good tires on steelies with rim covers (very worn)
* Body has scratches, most notable are hood (which she had replaced, and was hit again by truck with ball hitch, it was a city car), and drivers door scrapes
* No accidents.
* AC does not work
* Car had original head unit, I replaced it with a low end Blaupunkt, plays mp3 cds, works well, has remote, and I did a good job with the wiring
* replaced the blown hatch struts with good ones
* replaced the interior door panels with Japanese import CRX ones (they look like CRX Si ones, nice CRX writing on the door panels)
* It's a hard top. It's red. Wipers and fluids work
The paint actually will come out with work... I started with Meguires (sp) and it started to come up nice.
* Seats are worn, as stated. Has full interior. the rear cargo cover has zip ties to hold it down, it works and 'hinges' well. the diving cargo wall, the cardboard is broken on one side, but still latches in place. You know how these get.
* Replaced the cargo box with a box from the yard that was in nice shape.
* The car is otherwise STOCK. no cut springs, not bad wiring lights or fogs, or goofy stuff.

Car is located near Plymouth Meeting, PA (19422). Good daily. I have not had a problem in the 3k I have run the car. I have a nice Excel spread sheet of all maintenance done (summarizing the stack of maintenance records, and the oil change and little things I did).

All I could recommend would be a t-belt, last document I have says like 130k or so it was done. Good car though otherwise, current PA inspection through September, and not crooked or anything.

$900 or best offer, excellent price! . The owner history and daily drivability (brakes, tires, axles, etc) and straight, good body, are hard to find.

$1400obo Great daily while you work on your project or make this your rolling project.

Underbody has dealer rust protection IIRC!

 

$1200 obo is a very good price.
