on a eg hatch, anyone know how to do it properly? i dont wanna damage them

 

your have to doe them from the inside out....there are a couple of hidden one.. so becarfull. i've done my fare share .....there may also be some double sided tape too...so watch out..

 

you can take off your interior panels, or you can take them off from them outside and get new clips.

I'm thinking about painting my moldings. However, I'm not really sure how to take them off yet just by reading this. Could someone help me with better explanation on how to? Hopefully with some pictures.

you have to take the door panels off, roll the windows up so u can reach the clips on the other side and take the rear quarter panels interior out to get to those.

 

If you are painting them with trim paint you can always get soe blue 3m tape and some newspaper to mask it off and spray it right then and there

 

yeah thats what i had to do to my drivers side. because it was a cx door or somthing with out clips and it was double sided taped to the door
