how to tell the difference between usdm intake mani and jdm intake mani?
alright i did the sohc zc swap in my 88 crx dx and converted to mpfi and i have been told that in order to get it bar'd i need the usdm intake manifold but how exactly do you tell the difference between jdm and usdm because i actually did the mpfi swap on my D15B2 before i did the motor swap and the manifold i used looks the same as the one on the sohc zc.
It says PGM-FI on the top of it if that means anything.

i honestly cant see one but i have been told that i needed the usdm manifold in order to pass the BAR in cali.
Does anybody else have an idea

you dont need to get a sohc zc engine bar'd in california, they are the direct replacement for the d16a6, i had one in my '88 for 3 bi-yearly smog checks, at 3 different stations, and none of the techs have said anything about it, i even asked one guy if it was going to be a problem, and he said no because his computer gave him information on the engine that it is a direct replacement from japan.
