Anyone know what brand these are, and also I want everyones opinion on there damper setup....thanks a bunch

 

All I have to say about those is that you'll get what you pay for.

More importantly, I'd like to see the rear set mounted. There's something missing on the tophats.

The only complete coilover set I would purchase are the Eibach Prostreets.

Dude, just search. Either here or google. It's simple. And easy. And not to mention fast, becuase HERE, you have to wait for somebody else's response.

I went with the tien basics and they are allsome. Just need to take the top mounts off your old ones. No matter what your going to run over 1,000 for a decent set of coil overs. If they are selling for else its either they are used or nock offs.

Note to original poster:

A full coilover setup is going to ride a LOT harsher than your stock suspension (even harsher than some spring and shock combos).

I would usually only recommend full coilovers if the car is going to be raced or repeatedly adjusted. Unless you have money to throw around...

A similar setup can be achieved with a good spring and shock combo, for much cheaper. The ride quality will be a bit better/smoother, and depending on what components you choose they may be as adjustable as a full coilover.

For instance, my suspension setup: Tokico D-Spec shocks ($500) and Skunk2 sleeve coilovers ($300?). The coilovers were already on the car when I bought it, but can be found for cheap if they're used. Just like full coilovers, I can adjust the damping/stiffness and ride height.

Incorrect. Plenty of pre-assembled coilovers are only slightly more uncomfortable than the stock setup. I've got F2's, and when the dampers are set to a relatively soft setup, they are pretty close to the stock suspension, in terms of comfort.

 

Okayyyyyyy, sorry to be so untechnical. I was simply stating that the majority of coilovers are rougher than stock/aftermarket shock combos. The majority. And besides, the savings of matching a nice spring and shock combo are sweet.

Especially since I paid $750 for my pre-assembled coilovers.

 

Just throwing some ideas around. Both for the people who have money to spend, and for those who opt to save a nickel or dime. Bottom line: do your homework kids.

 

i paid 1200+ for my Ground control and Koni yellow setup with a rear camber kit so its not like I was saving any if you go for a good shock/spring combo.
