timing belt on b16.?
i am redoing the timing belt on my b16 and where you line up the crank pulley i see the mark on the pulley but i am not sure if i got the right mark on the timing belt cover.
The marks do not have no color on them. and i want to make sure i got it lined up to the right mark on the cover before i decide to start it. Once i have the mark lined up i just put the belt back on and tighten the tensioner correct?

you shouldnt be moving stuff around after the belt is off, you should have taken it off with it in the right spot. when you put it on check to see that the cams are lined up(you can put pins thru the cams to lock them in place. the crank should line up with the cover mark, then tension it and turn the motor over by hand(with a socket on the crank pulley)turn it like 3-4 times and then double check to see if everything is still lined up if it is you are good if not you screwed something up.
