i have a 1992 eg6 and im going to be painting it champ white but i need some help on what to tell the painter ex: i want to paint my door handles that stock black color but idk what its called, i also want to paint the side skirts stock black but idk the color for that neither, i have jdm thin side moldings im going to put on the car along with mudflaps

 

Try the bodywork/paint forum on here, there are a few techies in there that could lead you in the right direction.

Do you mean you want to paint the handles and sideskirts the stock color that black stock Civics come in or do you mean you want them the same color that stock Civics had on unpainted door handles and sideskirts? Because the stock finish isn't painted at all on those parts unless it's color matched.

 

yea i just relized they werent painted and its just the color of the platic and i dont think i can match that look by using paint i may be very wrong tho im not sure, like i said i have a 92 hatch and want it champ white, im having a real hard time with the color theam like, i want a carb hood and trunk, i also have the jdm side moldings that im deff leaving unpainted as well as the mudflapps but idk weather to paint the mirrors black or white or the sideskirts or doorhandles black or white
i know its based on personal prefrence but this is one of the hardest disisions ive made with this car bcuz this paint job is getting done by a proffesional and its not going to be cheap so these things are kind of critical
