Will Full TSX brake system bolt to DC5.
Got a customer asking this question. He totaled out his TSX, and now has an 05 RSX. Since the TSX brakes seem to be laregre then the RSX. Anyone done a full brake swap like this?
Thanks

you can do it by making your own brackets for the caps to bolt onto.. but your braking bias will be off. and you will have to fix that somehow.
TSX calipers bolt right onto the RSX-S rotor/knuckle. The TSX has a slightly larger pad area than the AP1/DC5 pads. The TSX calipers will also fit inside 16" 02-04 RSX oem wheels.

Not exactly. The TSX i believe may use a different rotor (it is thicker is for sure) but the centerbore may be larger than the RSX hub's centerbore. Therefore it won't be hubcentric unless someone can verify the screws work the same.
For those of you asking about the RL brakes onto a DC5, sit tight, gimme about two weeks, I'm already on it.

Can you verify this? by my measurements, the TL pad is too tall, it falls off the edge of the rotor on the back (the RSX-S rotor, tho the same diameter, is very different from a TL rotor of the same diameter.)
Would the TSX front brakes fit, like a RSX-S setup would? What do I need to swap other than calipers, rotors, and pads?
Should I also swap the master cylinder and proportioning valve to maintain proper pedal feel and bias? I checked and TSX has similar sized rear brakes (10.2") and the hub bore is the same 64.1mm.
Lastly, would the effective wheel offset change due to different thickness of the new setup?
Thanks!
