Apexi PowerFC on s2000?
i have an apexi power fc that came off of a turboed 2001 Civic Type R. im wondering if it would work on my 00' s2000. and if it does would i stand to gain a decent amount of performance from the retune? thanks!
But parts like the Power FC and the HKS F-con are only sold and tuned through authorized/trained dealers. So they might be stupid about other things, but they should know what they are talking about when it comes to this.
But I'm pretty sure each Power FC is specific to an engine.

tru tru, the place i go to "pann auto" i do not believe they tune they just look up prices and yea when i talked to him he was like "well it should" then he looked it up and he siad it didnt say specifically my car.
but ne ways wuts a good way to go for the s2k then? i know AEM EMS but that is pricey, anyone know something on par with that, i dont tune myself so i dont specifically need the data logging and such. but i know everyone is going to say "if you cheap out dont buy an s2k" but im still just looking for an option to where i dont have to spend "unnecessary" money. Thanks alot guys, i appreciate all the help

Both the Power FC and HKS F-con are better than the AEM EMS in my opinion. However, finding a tuner that can tune the Power FC and or the HKS F-con is the hard part. Pretty much any good reputable tuner shop is capable of tuning the AEM EMS.
hmm, the fcon seems cheap but that also sounds good to me as far as price. Is this a piggy back system, it doesnt seem like a standalone, decent benefits to retune a stock motor? Thanks!

Thomas and Pann are strictly sales, so they're not going to have as much info. An authorized Apexi power dealer also in San Diego is http://www.sportcarmotion.com.
papa5murf is correct, the Power FC is made specific to each application, so you wouldn't be able to use the Civic version in your S2K.
