The sr20det is a mass produced, and a factory stock assembled w/turbo. Unlike a b18 turbo which is not factory built w/turbo or mass produced. But to custom fit a sr20det in a honda engine bay cost $$$ parts, fabrication, labor, tuning (if any) etc. Ya it'll cost a bunch.
So going b18 turbo would have been a better route. I guess the owner of the car wanted to try something different. But I understand your point on that.
for effort, and success on the build, not sure how it runs though.
Plus power gains are completely different, but that's a another story.

If it's an SR20DET, it's not from a 200SX or a Sentra SE-R. He just used the SE-R or 200SX transmission.

prob. because he is use to knowing 240's w/ those, when actually Sentra SE-R's are the SR20DE and then just turbo it so there you get your SR20DET lol

the FWD transmission will NOT bolt right up to a RWD Silvia/180sx SR20DET that most people are thinking of. It would have had to come out of one of the transverse mounted SR20DETs.
