Default 94 EG hatch or 98 EK Coupe EX?

I have a friend that is willing to trade me his rolling shell 98 EX with brand new paint job but needs to have front and rear bumper re-done (had a body kit) for my 94 hatch cx. My car needs some body work and has a 99' mini-me, fresh tint, some aluminum 15' wheels with OEM everything else (intake, muffler, springs, etc. etc. etc.) and a nice re-charged a/c. I would have to find another motor for this one and bring a few things back to stock cause I am gonna use for my daily driver cause I have another eg for track use. What should I do? On one hand I would get a newer honda, but on the other I would have to invest more money and time.

I got the 94 hatch for free and I just had to replace the engine for $200. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Yeah I think I'm gonna pass on the newer EX. All the money I'll spend bringing the car back to stock I could be using on my Track Car.

Well he is selling the rolling shell for $600 for anyone living in the New York/CT area.
