I would thinking about getting these, but I've searched on H-T and a few ppl with EF's and stuff were told it wouldn't fit without fender rolling/major modification to the body.
Is that the case with my car?

if u are talking about the +38 offset version with only a lil bit of lip then NO..no fender rolling, etc
if you want the zero offset type with plenty of lip then YES..fender rolling, camber, stretched tires is a must.

I just want a straight drop-in fit. No sticking out like a mexi-rider. Guess this wheel selection is bad for me then

Thanks for the update!
will it look anything like this on my car (click on my username to see pic of my car or click here: https://honda-tech.com/zerouser...16068)??
What I mean is will the wheels stick out about the same as on that car as mine (I have front + rear camber kits un-installed in garage?

yeah u will be fine..just ask them for the front wheel drive version...the rwd drive versions is really made specific for maybe miata, XB and ae86 corolla..some guys like to rock them on hondas but u dont want that.
just get the 16x7 +38 (fwd) or 15" FRONT WHEEL DRIVE VERSION

I find it weird that they don't have that option when ordering online.. Strange, but I guess I will give them a call. I moved my way from wanting 18s down to 17s and then 16s, so I'm not going to go with 15s. They're good for some people, but I don't want that much rubber/lack of wheels.

you would get this exact fitment. 16x7 (+38) offset 4x100 :

looks like they are sold out, though. maybe call and order

I think the recommended tire settings for my sportmax 002 16 inchers is: 215 or 205/45/16R.
Let me check

For a '97-00 Civic, that's correct.

Haha, no ****! I just did a Google search and that was the only Sport Max 002 I could find!
Thanks nsxtasy, I knew that by the time you answered. TY for the confirmation! 205/45/16 <-- I'm getting that.
