Kinda a stupid topic but im thinkin of getin the si and wonder if its worth it. I just drove 420 on 12 gallons and it was a mix of stop and go traffic and highway.I probally could have gone 450 miles. How far can u si owners go on 1 tank?

I usually fill up at ~330ish miles and have 2-3 bars left. I drive pretty hard though, so I'm sure others get a bit more than that.

On avg. using 93oct Shell gas, I get 350ishmpg. But that is with a mix of 40% stop-n-go, 50%highway, and I save the last 10% because everyday on my way to work, there is a nice stretch of open road between two forest preserves, that I blast down, redline to redline.

Btw, when I went to the drag strip last weekend from Chicago to Wisconsin (including 13 runs down the strip) I got 298mpg from a full tank with 2 or 3 bars to go.

Use shell 91 most of the time -- A lot of city driving -- Always at least 300 miles per tank. If I go on a trip with a decent amount of highway driving my gas mileage is ******* AWESOME

I usually fill up with 3 to 5 bars left since I commute to work and don't want to have to fill up on the way there or on the way home

Any ways, I'm at 2 bars right now, at exactly 300.1 miles. 85% highway. I've been running it hard though because I can't resist the new found power difference from 5500ft altitude to 100ft

On the way here I would have managed at least 360 miles on one tank, 100% freeway, CC on at 75mph. If I could have stayed at 65, I can only imagine that I'd hit over 400 miles per tank.

That sounds about right. I get around that number with my auto lx coupe and I do about 95% city driving.

Are you guys pedal to the floor from every stoplight drivers? I got 24-26MPG city only driving in CO of all places. In my Si! My girlfriend gets 32MPG driving like a madwoman in her I/H/E '01 EX!

I thought LX would get somewhere in the 30's for city driving?

240 to 260, and I drive pretty conservatively.

Fuel used is 60% Chevron 91 and 40% Union 76 100 (Net about 94 - 95)
