Default Identifiying camshafts

I just got a hold of a used comp cam but when I compare it with my stock one it looks identical. Aside from a different number (3 instead of 2) near the cam gear and two distinct lines on the dizzy side I can't tell the difference. Shouldn't it have the manufacture's name on it somewhere?
