FS/FT - 1993 Honda Civic CX, Sumter SC
I have a 1993 Honda Civic CX with a d16z6 swap, DX transmission, P05 ECU. Car is white with blue interior, no power steering/windows/locks, has air conditioning but needs a compressor (I will include used one in trade if it's not installed beforehand). The car has 222k miles, and according to the previous owner the z6 has less than 100k miles on it. No way to prove, but it runs good, doesn't smoke and doesn't use oil. Also has a clean title - IIRC I am the third owner.
Body - 7.5/10
Interior - 6/10
Mechanically - 9/10
The paint is good, body has a couple rough spots. Drivers seat is ripped, but I am looking for a replacement. The previous owner used it to transport a couple of dogs, and I've yet to get all the dog hair out of it. Has a cd/MP3 player installed. Needs an antenna. Needs exhaust from axle back (no biggie if you go aftermarket, but I am looking for replacement). Needs a tune-up, but the longer I have it, the more will get done to it. I bought the car for my commute and have put roughly 5k miles on it, averaging 40 mpg. I would imagine with the wiring and correct ECU, that would get better. It also has two new tires on the front. The rears will need to be replaced soon due to dry-rotting, but you can make do with them - or I will replace them before it goes. New brakes at all 4 corners (disc and drums).
I am looking for the following - Nissan 240SX, Mazda Miata, Volvo 240/245 (coupe, sedan or wagon) or other rwd vehicles might interest me. I am also in the market for a vehicle to tow our 95 Civic, so trucks are open, too. I'd prefer a straight trade, but will consider vehicles valued above or below my car. Cash sale - asking $3500 obo. Can possibly assist in delivery depending on sale price.
