Default need a new roof skin, for my ef sedan. any ideas? beside junkyard

I went to a local place that sells after market body panels called Certifit. They do not carry the roof skin at all. So from what I know already is that the dealer sells the roof around 300 bucks... The junkyard will sell me a used roof in cond, that i must cut off myself for 150.00. I want to know if any one else sells after market body panels. that i may be able to order a new oem roof.

If I'm correct; you are saying that the factory wants $300 and that the junk yard wants $150 for one that you have to cut at the posts.

I've done a roof swap and can tell you that unless your time doesn't really mean much (or you are dirt cheap), just buy the factory piece!!

Grinding off all the "unused" metal from the junk yard roof, so it's ready to weld in, takes a lot of time and grinding disks!!

Here is a link to what I did. (ya, I used a junk yard roof and that's why I recommend a factory one)

Thanks for the comments!

And trust me on buying a new roof skin from the dealer. It's SOO much nicer dealing with a clean piece of new steel.
