Painting an EG
Well my uncle who does professionaly body work for a living, said he would paint my EG for a case of beer and $100..
I think i have decided magnesium metallic or champage silver..
But my question is how much everything is needed? I plan on painting everything, inside and out, besides the engine bay.
thanks for any help

Do you mean how much material is your uncle going to need to paint everything? If so, I'm sure your uncle, who does body work as a profession should know how much material to buy. I would go with 2 quarts of color (after reduced will give you 4 quarts sprayable material). Not sure how you can buy clear coat (only ever bought it in gallons), maybe get 3 quarts of clear or just shoot for a gallon to be safe. If you plan on sealing the car, maybe get 2 quarts of that also. I've never purchased clear or sealer in any other size than a gallon, so you'll have to ask around and see how they will sell it.
