So i am 90 percent done with my 5speed swap and i go to bolt up the linkages and to my surprise the linkage is too long!!! I searched and couldnt find if 88-91 civic hatch linkages are any different than ones from eg, ek ect. or any different than crx linkage.
I am using stock motor mounts and a HF tranny
its a 88 civic DX converting to 5 speed

should be the stock CRX linkage, i have a d series and my linkage is still stock from the CRX, im pretty sure, is your shifter turned around, might be a dumb question, but could be an easy fix, i dunno

 

dont really understand question cause I should be in bed lol but you need a 88-91 shift linkage....dont take it out of a newer car!

 

i was told the linkage was out of a crx... i guess it must have been newer linkage
