hey guys, im planning on building a mild turbo car for a eg hatch. i just want something close to 300whp. im thinking about getting a gsr or an ls motor. not looking into hybrids. anyone have a link that can help me out?...i just want to know the basics for a turbo build, im not a noob here on honda-tech and yes i searched.

which turbo should i be looking to get? i heard i should look for a custom one?

and what is t03/t04? and which trim is which.

remember i was into all motor, i had a well built gsr. so please be kind

how much would i have to spend for a 300whp b series?

i have a budget of 4k

well t3/t4 hybrid would make the power u need. question for u is do u want ur turbo spool at low rpm or after vtec kicks in ?

low rpm spool get .48ar exhaust side high rpm .63ar exhaust side
also 4g is enough

i say get a gsr ,gsr tranny search on fi classified u can find a cheap turbo parts in there insted of getting a kit which will cost u more i hope that helps

Seems like you searched like a typical n00b, spelling turbo wrong in your searches, and only read the pages that caught your eye.

If you had looked at the F.I. FAQ and read this guide: http://www.beesandgoats.com/bo....html you wouldn't be asking those questions.

For the turbo, look at a t3/t04e 50trim, .63ar exhaust, or a T3 60trim .63ar exhaust. The 1st will get 300 with the stock map sensor, the second will do so at a bit more psi, but will spool up a bit quicker.
